  • Overview

    Provide contractor administrative support to the military CLPM for maintainance of the linguists' skills database, specifically ILTPs. Review historical data in the database to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the CLP and make recommendations.

    Responsibilities

    1. Maintain correspondence related to the CLP, such as the CLP SOP etc.
    2. In support of the CLPM, monitor ILTPs, to assess progress and recommend adjustments to training. Review with the linguist at least quarterly.
    3. Maintain links to all relevant publications, such as AR 11-6, AR 11-8, DA Form 330, etc.
    4. Support self-study initiatives in the ILTP and monitor program schedule
    5. Review student survey results, ODA results, and attendance results at the end of each class with the CLPM and contract manager and prepare summary minutes and recommendations based on the meeting.
    6. Coordinate and recommend language resources, publications, software, and other items pertinent to the operation of the CLP.
    7. Provide command level briefs, ILTPS, and general support to the CLP and staff, as requested.
    8. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Military experience - preferred military linguist / intelligence speacialist, and knowledge of Command Language Programs (CLP)

    Expertise in manipulating excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Schedule, web-based systems, PowerPoint and other software programs

    Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skill

    Works effectively with Government and contract staff and understands the parameters inherent in each category

    Hold appropriate background check for the position
