    Catapult Learning, in partnership with non-public schools in Baltimore City, are seeking full-time certified teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. 

     

    Your talents as an educator will be put to good use when you join our dynamic Baltimore team providing small group instruction in Baltimore non-public elementary schools. Catapult Learning non-public teachers work in private schools as resource room teachers.  Students who are Baltimore City residents but attend a non-public school can receive extra instructional resources in reading and math at their non-public school. 

     

    With small group teaching environments and high professional standards you, and your students, will grow beyond expectations!

     

    Teachers receive paid training, materials, curriculum, and full support at all times.  

    Responsibilities

    • Attend all training sessions and staff meetings (monthly)
    • Teach lessons following the guidelines of our Core Instructional Model (learned in training)
    • Develop and update skill-appropriate lesson plans
    • Create and update all Catapult Learning/district/state student/program records
    • Ensure supervision of students (including escorting students from Catapult Learning teaching space and their classroom)
    • Attend meetings with Catapult Learning Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required
    • Maintains inventory of teaching materials and supplies
    • Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications

    • Current active MSDE teaching certificate required to teach in MD (PK-3, elementary, middle school) 
    • Must have or be willing to obtain all state mandated clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal background checks, Act 126 Certificate, FBI fingerprints, etc.)
