  • Overview

    As a Talent Advisor, you will deliver full-cycle recruiting expertise and consulting by developing proactive strategies to source, attract, recruit and select top-tier talent.  The Talent Advisor is responsible for delivering best practices and methods of the Talent Acquisition process for specific operational areas/lines of business. Effectively monitor and coordinate recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, hiring and on-boarding all associates. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage recruitment process for business segment including creating recruitment strategies and best practices for entry level through Director level positions.
    • Implement sourcing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pools
    • Identify passive job seekers using full range of recruitment tactics and resources
    • Network at all levels to foster long term relationships both internally and externally
    • Evaluate and assess staffing needs of the assigned client areas
    • Consult with divisional & departmental heads about organizational changes and strategies concerning the efficient utilization of headcount.
    • Participate in the forecasting and budget planning for each cost center within assigned function.
    • Coach Hiring Managers and Recruiting Super Users on interviewing and selection skills and techniques.
    • Build strong relationships with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand current hiring needs, priorities and trends
    • Assist in development and measurement of predictive recruiting metrics
    • Assess trends and data in the business and industry to continuously improve Catapult’s brand from a hiring perspective, scale recruiting processes and systems, and contribute to the broader talent acquisition strategic planning process.
    • Identify and manage recruiting events, meetups, conferences and build relationships with partners; represent and be the voice & face Catapult at industry events when needed.
    • Develop and execute recruiting plans and conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
    • Partnering closely with our businesses and functions to understand current and future talent needs
    • Developing and driving sourcing strategies that leverage current and emerging channels
    • Support integrated talent management initiatives through close partnership with HR Business Partners and business leaders. 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent degree. Masters preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in building marketing / branding strategies across multiple channels, with a strong focus on digital and social media. Recruitment marketing experience preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager in a national organization is required
    • Previous experience building a corporate talent acquisition function is strongly preferred
    • Solid project management skills and experience leading teams.
    • A doer, highly productive team member, who owns and actively manages projects to completion.
    • Strong collaborator, advocate and partner who can influence up and down in the organization.
    • Must be a creative and curious thinker with an analytical mindset who loves what they do.
