The Research Analyst is an essential contributor to research and evaluation efforts company-wide, bolstering data-driven decision-making across all areas of work to ultimately maintain high-quality educational programs for students. There are three primary components to the Research Analyst role: 1. Collect, organize and manage quantitative and qualitative data across business lines to support departmental deliverables in an effective and efficient manner; 2. Contribute to the analysis of organizational data to inform internal research goals; 3. Support cross-departmental collaborations to enable the most effective use of data at Catapult Learning.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Master’s degree required; degree in educational psychology or social sciences highly preferred.
At least three years of related experience is required.
Background conducting research within the context of educational initiatives is required; background in program evaluation preferred.
Advanced Excel required; understanding of relational datasets, including a knowledge of SQL, is highly preferred.
Must have excellent technical writing, statistical analysis, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Must have the ability to interact with all levels.
Travel is required <10% of the time.
