Exciting opportunity to provide school social work and counseling services to families in Philadelphia area non public schools. Canidate must possess strong knowledge and skills for direct and indirect interventions including: counseling on an individual or family basis, providing necessary resources to families, conducting/organizing workshops for parents/guardians on relevant topics, consulting and providing feedback to administrators, teachers, parents, and other professionals in order to recommend appropriate interventions and enhance student's abilities.
Faclilates multi-disciplinary interventions.
Must be a licensed social worker or school counselor with at least two years experience in field.
Must have demonstrated ability to communicate with students, families and school personnel. Excellent time management, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are essential. Computer literacy preferred.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
