    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Collaborate with national and local PD team to provide on-going, customized support to large public and non-public PD clients
    • Write program narratives and proposal for PD opportunities
    • Contract and coordinate the delivery of services from third party professional development consultants in Indiana, Ohio and Illinois
    • Participate in client facing meetings to match client needs to high quality professional development programs
    • Observe the delivery of professional development programs to evaluate program implementation
    • Facilitate the writing of mid-year and end-of-year reports to reflect the qualitative and quantitative results of our professional development programs

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Extensive working knowledge of effective pedagogical strategies in the area of literacy and math, including methods of differentiating instruction and fostering student engagement.
    • Possess an understanding of the Common Core State Standards, curricula, and assessments
    • Successful experience designing and/or delivering Professional Development
    • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of adult learning principles
    • Organizational and planning skills for setting both short term and long range goals, and for
      coordinating efforts for timely accomplishment of those goals.
    • Knowledge of current trends, issues, and challenges of K-12 education
    • Willingness to continually learn new information and skills related to student learning and achievement
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology and instructional media tools
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.  Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management and with clients.
    • Excels in constantly changing environments and adapts flexibly in shifting priorities or objectives.                                                                                                              
    • A passion and dedication for improving education through high quality professional development
    • Regional travel is required

    Educational Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of effective teaching experience
    • Masters or Doctoral degree in Education, Literacy, Math or related field
