The Professional Learning Facilitator is tasked with working with parents to improve effectiveness in assisting children academically, social-emotionally needs and in enhancing parent-child relationships. Eligible candidates may reside anywhere in the US and its Territories. Professional Learning Facilitators are field-based and travel to school sites as required by the project assignment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
At least 3years’ experience working with parents of K-12 students.
BA/BS Degree in Education/Psychology or related field preferred
Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Some travel required within NYC
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings
