The paraprofessional works within the context of the classroom teacher’s lesson plans and daily structure, guiding and supporting the student(s)’ participation in classroom activities. Paraprofessional consistently collects data on academic goals/objectives as well as behaviors on a technology platform.
High school diploma and knowledge of computer software required. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals with special needs, particularly Autism. ABA experience a plus. 2 years or 30 hrs of college experience preferred.
