There are two primary components to the Procurement Analyst role: 1. Manage all materials needs for the Missouri Summer Journey program, ensuring that all needed materials are identified, ordered, and delivered in the most effective and efficient manner. 2. Support corporate procurement efforts
Provide vendors with bill of materials and proof the bill of materials from vendor system to ensure accuracy.
Closely monitor vendor orders and ensure all needed kit materials are ordered on time
Closely monitor vendors on status of order receipts and kitting progress
Generate purchase orders (requisitions) when needed
Coordinate material substitutions on an as needed basis
Analyze costs of items and compare across procurement vendors and relative to prior year
Calculate materials cost and submit to management for approval
Monitor inventory quantities and value at vendors
