Catapult Learning LLC, an industry leader in educational services, provides blended learning solutions for high school drop-out recovery programs. Students spend time in learning centers as they complete online course work to earn their diplomas. In collaboration with learning center teachers, the virtual teacher provides online instruction, academic support and guidance to students in a virtual classroom setting for the Catapult Academy Dropout Recovery Program.
Catapult Learning is seeking full and part-time Florida and/or Georgia state-certified online teachers for its virtual high school program. The online teacher is responsible for providing virtual instruction, academic support and guidance to high school students seeking a high school diploma. The teacher is responsible for implementing instructional activities that meet the objectives and policies of each specific program and maintaining effective communication with students and academic associates. Teachers must possess the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, students and parents virtually; personalize instruction and encourage student success; seamlessly provide instruction and student support using online curriculum and student management tools in a virtual environment; and exhibit professional and ethical standards when dealing with students.
Teachers must possess or have direct access to all necessary tools to perform their jobs, including a java enabled computer with broadband Internet access. (Chromebooks and Ipads are not sufficient to support the learning platform.)
